Main focus
Possess responsibility for sales towards defined areas and customers, and promotion of EM imaging technology. Develop and maintain high level personal customer relationships with oil companies, and promote opportunities for business development. Recommend appropriate resources, personnel and pricing levels for business planning
Maintain up-to-date information on major oil company’s plans and our competitors’ position. Present proposals in a variety of ways to enhance EMGS’ position, facilitate contract negotiations, promote value selling and solutions. Responsible and accountable for short and long term sales budgets and sales/business plans
Roles and responsibilities
- Develop short and long term sales plans
- Identify EM prospect opportunities and lead the prospect screening process
- Key Account and/or area responsibility.
- Lead sales plan process, progress and internal interfaces and coordination with price strategy and analysis in area of responsibility
- Lead tendering process with contract negotiations
- Participate in EM job reports, report customer feedback and comments
- Monitor competitor activity
- Market promotion with articles, participation in conferences/stands, workshops
- Prepare and coordinate sales presentations
Requirements
- Higher education; technical / business administration / marketing
- Documented experience from the oil industry, sales and/or marketing
- Documented skills to develop understanding for the EM-technology
- Excellent knowledge and experience from contract negotiations
- International experience is desirable
- Knowledge in use and experience from MS Office
- Proficient in languages, especially English, (even Portuguese, Spanish, French)
- Ability to work independently, structured, conscientious
- Instill confidence in connection with customers and others
- Substantial traveling should be expected
- Effective communication and coordination skills required
