Our receivers can measure field strengths that vary greatly over several decades in magnitude, from weak, naturally occurring magnetotelluric signals to strong CSEM signals. Accurate signal timing on both source- and receiver-side enables us to precisely measure the EM phase shift with respect to the source.
The receivers are designed to descend rapidly to the seabed, enabling large surveys to be performed efficiently. After acoustic positioning at the seabed, the receivers can remain autonomous for weeks.
