The accolade recognises that we have worked for the Malaysian national oil company for over 200,000 man-hours without an HSE incident.
Effendy Cheng Abdullah, Petronas Cargiali CEO, presented the award on 12 April. Thomas Sjøberg, EMGS President Asia Pacific, and Charles Dandridge, EMGS Vice President HSE, accepted the award on behalf of all our employees.
Dandridge says, “Providing a safe working environment for all our employees, contractors and customers is fundamentally important for us, and this award is a credit to everyone who has worked for Petronas in its Malaysian and international blocks. It recognises the implementation and active use of our integrated HSE management system, which has helped us to achieve a zero injury rate. The award also acknowledges some of our special initiatives, such as using automated systems that eliminate manual handling.”
