David Neser has more than 20 years of experience in operations management, sales, business development and new product development. Before accepting the position as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer at EMGS, he worked at Schlumberger where he managed the engineering team responsible for developing the company’s marine and land seismic products globally. From 2007 to 2009, Neser managed all operational aspects of Schlumberger’s marine seismic vessels in the Asia Pacific region.

Neser completed a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at the University of South Australia and earned a master's degree in information technology systems at the Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Dave Ridyard graduated from Durham University (England) with a double honours degree in applied physics and electronics, and has over 25 years' experience in the marine seismic industry. He started his career with Geophysical Services Inc. in the early 1980's, where he held a number of positions in operations and R&D. In 1989, he founded QC Tools, which developed and marketed offshore seismic and positioning quality control products and services. QC Tools was acquired by Input/Output (now ION) in 1994.

During almost 10 years with Input/Output Dave held a number of executive positions in product development, sales and marketing of marine products, including ocean bottom cables, towed streamers, airguns and control systems. He joined EMGS early in 2006 as product champion for 3D and scanning and became President EMGS North South America in May 2008.

Dave was appointed Executive Vice President of Strategic Business Development March 2012.  In this capacity he will take on a number of responsibilities associated with achieving EMGS's sales and strategic objectives.
