Christiaan A. Vermeijden, Chief Executive Officer

Christiaan A. Vermeijden comes from the position as Global Offshore Geotechnical Director of Fugro N.V., where he was part of the Executive Management Team. Vermeijden has worked for Fugro since 2000 in several challenging management positions around the world, and brings with him extensive international experience and knowledge of the oil and gas service industry. He holds a Master in Science (MSc) degree in Physical Geography from the University of Amsterdam and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the Rotterdam School of Management.      



Hege A. Veiseth, Chief Financial Officer

Hege has worked for EMGS since 2007 and has been the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of EMGS since 1 January 2016. Prior to becoming the CFO, Hege was Group Finance Manager of the company. Before joining EMGS, she worked as an auditor for EY for 7 years, including as auditor for EMGS. Hege has a MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and a MSc in Accounting and Auditing from the Norwegian Business School (BI).

Graeme Baillie, President Asia and Pacific

Graeme Baillie joined EMGS in June 2016 as exploration advisor for the Asia-Pacific region. He has over 30 years’ oil and gas industry experience, commencing his career as a geophysicist with Santos in Australia. He has also worked in Africa and the Middle East.
Mr Baillie worked for Lundin Petroleum from 2006-2016 as new ventures advisor for the Asia-Pacific region in Singapore, and was exploration manager for Lundin Malaysia prior to joining EMGS. Graeme has obtained science degrees from New Zealand and Western Australia with post graduate qualifications in geophysics.



Bjørn Petter Lindhom, President EMGS NSA

Bjørn Petter Lindhom has 11 years of oil and gas industry experience. He has an MSc in physics from University of Oslo (2001) and joined EMGS in 2003 working as a field geophysicist offshore. In 2005 he was transferred to Houston where he held various technical- and sales positions. He was responsible for the company's activities in Mexico and subsequently all of Latin America where EMGS secured two of its largest contracts to date (PEMEX and Petrobras). In 2011 he was transferred to Rio de Janeiro and in 2012 he returned to Oslo. Bjørn Petter held the position as President of Europe, Middle East and Africa until he moved to Houston in 2016 to take on the similar role for NSA.



Even Selnæs, Vice President Human Resources 

Even Selnæs graduated from Trondheim College of Engineering in 1994, and later combined that education with management studies in strategy and human resources. He started his career within operational IS management, but after only a few years he moved into managerial roles. Since 2001 Selnæs has worked explicitly in the human resources field, within several disciplines of the profession. He has a combination of technical education and line-manager experience combined with over 10 years of experience in human resources. Selnæs has international experience, through his period in Atmel Corporation, as well as in his various roles in different operations of the Telenor Group. He has worked with diverse cultures, in several countries. Even Selnæs joined EMGS as VP HR in March 2014 and oversees the global, human resources agenda in EMGS.




Markus Skarø, Vice President Acquisition

Markus Skarø has worked for EMGS in various operational management roles since 2006. Skarø started his EMGS career as Offshore Manager and after working a total of 13 years offshore moved to an onshore role as Operations Manager. In 2010 Markus was formally appointed VP of Acquisition, with responsibility for the world wide marine geophysical operation. After 18 years in the geophysical industry, seismic and EM combined, Markus has dealt with operational challenges in many countries and managed various organizations and equipment. Markus is Maritime Engineer, nautical science, by education.




Friedrich Roth, Vice President I&I

Friedrich Roth manages our processing & interpretation services and associated support and technology functions. He has more than 10 years of experience in the geophysical and oil field services industry, working with applications of resistivity measurements to exploration. His career started at Schlumberger as a researcher on resistivity borehole imaging. Following his move to EMGS, he held technical and managerial positions in R&D and our geophysical production organization before taking on his current role as VP of Imaging & Integration in 2012. Friedrich is educated as a geophysicist and holds a MSc degree from the Colorado School of Mines, USA, and a PhD degree from the Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands.



Anette Mellbye, Chief Legal Counsel

Anette Mellbye has been the Chief Legal Counsel of EMGS since 2008. Before joining EMGS Anette Mellbye was a lawyer with the law firm Selmer. She had previously worked for B. Skaugen Shipping AS and Manufacturers Hanover Trust (now J.P. Morgan). Most of her work experience has been related to the shipping and offshore industries. Anette holds a law degree from the University of Oslo, Norway, and a degree in business administration from HEC-Lausanne, Switzerland.
