Bjarte Bruheim, Chief Executive Officer

Bjarte Bruheim graduated from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, in 1981, with an MSc in physics and electronics. He then spent the next 10 years working for Geco (now WesternGeco): the first five years as operations manager, Europe and the Far East; and from 1986 to 1991 as vice president operations, North and South America. Bjarte is one of the founders of Petroleum Geo-Services ASA and was its president and chief operating officer until 2001. Bjarte brings with him worldwide business and operational experience in addition to his knowledge as a board member, chairman and president of various US and Norwegian public companies.

Svein Knudsen, Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining EMGS in January 2005, Svein Knudsen served as vice president of finance and treasury with Petroleum Geo-Services ASA (PGS) from March 1994. PGS, founded and headquartered in Norway, has over the last 10-15 years secured a world-leading position in both the international marine seismic market and the floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) market. Svein holds a BSc in business and administration from Appalachian State University (ASU) in North Carolina, USA, where he graduated in 1987.

David Neser, Chief Operating Officer & Chief Technical Officer

David Neser has more than 20 years of experience in operations management, sales, business development and new product development. Before accepting the position as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer at EMGS, he worked at Schlumberger where he managed the engineering team responsible for developing the company’s marine and land seismic products globally. From 2007 to 2009, Neser managed all operational aspects of Schlumberger’s marine seismic vessels in the Asia Pacific region. Neser completed a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at the University of South Australia and earned a master's degree in information technology systems at the Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Anette Mellbye, Chief Legal Counsel

Anette Mellbye has been the Chief Legal Counsel of EMGS since 2008, Before joining EMGS Anette Mellbye was a lawyer with the law firm Selmer. She had previously worked for B. Skaugen Shipping AS and Manufacturers Hanover Trust (now J.P. Morgan). Most of her work experience has been related to the shipping and offshore industries. Anette holds a law degree from the University of Oslo, Norway, and a degree in business administration from HEC-Lausanne, Switzerland.



Vincent Vieugue3


Vincent Vieugue, EVP Sales & Marketing

Vincent Vieugue has an MSc in oceanography and in geophysics from respectively Toulon University and Strasbourg University, in France. He has worked 20 years in the oil and gas industry and acquired a broad, international experience both in exploration and production. Vieugue started his career in 1994 with Schlumberger working mainly within the seismic division WesternGeco, and held positions in Operations, Research and Engineering, and Sales.

Vieugue joined Roxar in 2006 and became part of their executive team in 2008 as VP Global Sales and Marketing. In January 2014, he assumed the position of EVP Sales & Marketing in EMGS, to lead the global sales and marketing strategy.

Ole Heggheim, EVP Strategic Development

Before joining EMGS in April 2013, Heggheim worked for PGS ASA where he was vice president finance, Aker Solutions ASA and was both CFO and executive vice president Business Development for Aker Yards ASA (re-named to STX Europe ASA).

He has more than 20 years’ experience from the industry and just prior to his joining EMGS, as director corporate finance for Pareto Securities. He earned his MBA at the University of Texas and Cand Mag/BBA from University of Bergen.

Charles Dandridge, VP HSSE

Mr. Dandridge received his BSc in business management from the University of Phoenix in 2001, and currently holds certifications in NEBOSH, OSHA, environmental applied science and leadership development.

Prior to coming to EMGS, Mr Dandridge held a career for 23 years in the power generation industry, managing the Generation Transition Management department, and ensuring that HSE was implemented in the design, construction and startup operation phases of the business.

In 2005 he was appointed VP of EDN Americas; an occupational health, safety and leadership development company. During this tenure he developed senior management- and employee safety leadership programs for major oil, seismic and drilling companies globally.

Mr. Dandridge assumed his position as vice president HSE (currently HSSE) in EMGS in 2007.


Even Selnæs 2_WEB

Even Selnæs, VP Human Resources 

Even Selnæs graduated from Trondheim College of Engineering in 1994, and later combined that education with management studies in strategy and human resources. He started his career within operational IS management, but after only a few years he moved into managerial roles. Since 2001 Mr. Selnæs has worked explicitly in the human resources field, within several disciplines of the profession. He has a combination of technical education and line-manager experience combined with over 10 years of experience in human resources.

Selnæs has international experience, through his period in Atmel Corporation, as well as in his various roles in different operations of the Telenor Group. He has worked with diverse cultures, in several countries.

Even Selnæs joined EMGS as VP HR in March 2014 and is in charge of the global, human resources agenda in EMGS. 

Bjørn Petter Lindholm 9_WEB

Bjørn Petter Lindhom, VP EMEA

Bjørn Petter Lindhom has 11 years of oil and gas industry experience. He has an MSc in physics from University of Oslo (2001) and joined EMGS in 2003 working as a field geophysicist offshore. In 2005 he was transferred to Houston where he held various technical- and sales positions. He was responsible for the company's activities in Mexico and subsequently all of Latin America where EMGS secured two of its largest contracts to date (PEMEX and Petrobras). In 2011 he was transferred to Rio de Janeiro and in 2012 he returned to Oslo.

Juan Santana, President EMGS NSA

Juan Santana has over twenty years of experience in sales, business development and management in the oil and gas industry. Before joining EMGS, he held a position at TGS Nopec as regional director for Africa and Middle East. Prior to his time at TGS, Mr. Santana was sales manager Latin America for ION's Multi Client Solutions and Processing Center Manager for GX Technology in Caracas, Venezuela. He was appointed president North South Americas in 2014 after serving as vice president for Latin America at EMGS.

Giles Denby, President EMGS AP

Giles Denby has 25 years’ oil and gas industry experience. He worked for Schlumberger Information Solutions from 1997 to 2011, including as vice president Middle East and as director global sales. His worldwide experience is extensive and includes living and working in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Jakarta, Indonesia. He has also lived and worked in Europe, the Middle East, Russia and the USA.

Before joining Schlumberger, Giles worked for Landmark Graphics, where he established the business in Russia. He attended Oxford Brooks University, UK, and served as a British Army officer after graduating from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, UK.
