All processing and imaging are performed in-house using proprietary methods.
The main processing steps for seabed-logging data are time-to-frequency transformation and receiver calibration and rotation.
Advanced processing may be required in areas with shallow water and uneven water depths. In addition, EMGS also offers a specially designed processing package to handle azimuthal data, which is acquired to increase data coverage.
Our imaging provides estimates of the lateral extension and depth of high-resistivity layers. The depth-migrated data, which shows resistivity anomalies, can be used to constrain an inversion of the data to give images with resistivity values. The results are provided in SEG-Y format.
Processing and imaging projects are tailored for the water depth, the bathymetry, the acquisition parameters and the survey objectives. We offer basic and advanced processing and imaging as part of a comprehensive EMGS seabed-logging survey or we can apply our in-house algorithms and methods to enhance third-party data.
