Seabed-logging surveys are acquired along single or intersecting lines for prospect validation, classification and delineation.
2D survey lines must be optimally placed to fully evaluate each prospect. EMGS uses an in-house 3D forward modelling tool to plan all its surveys. We can model full-scale seabed-logging surveys for any source to receiver geometry. In this way, we can run virtual surveys for different survey lines to determine which configuration is most likely to meet the client's objectives, given the geological setting and the water depth.
Processing of the data acquired along a line can provide 2D sections presented as depth-migrated images displaying resistivity anomalies and inversion data showing resistivity values.
We work closely with our clients to integrate seabed-logging data with other geological information, and our 3D modelling capability gives us a powerful interpretation tool.
All our 2D surveys are customised to meet the project's exploration challenges.
