Prior to joining EMGS in January 2005, Svein Knudsen served as vice president of finance and treasury with Petroleum Geo-Services ASA (PGS) from March 1994. PGS, founded and headquartered in Norway, has over the last 10-15 years secured a world-leading position in both the international marine seismic market and the floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) market. Svein holds a BSc in business and administration from Appalachian State University (ASU) in North Carolina, USA, where he graduated in 1987.
