Survey vessels

Seabed logging surveys require safe and reliable vessels that can deliver back-to-back operations.

EMGS has the largest EM surveying fleet in the industry, with five operational custom built vessels, and two more under construction. This fleet operates in all the major basins around the world. We have invested in robust, well-equipped vessels, and, because we have long-term charters, we can retain first-rate crews with extensive experience of seabed logging operations. Dedicated EMGS engineers manage the tasks that directly or indirectly impact on data quality.

Safety, data quality and efficiency are foremost in our minds.

Main features

  • Mechanical handling booms and improved operational efficiency mean fewer crew members are involved in lifting operations.
  • Our vessels are built to operate in bad weather.
  • 24/7 operations
vessel 1
The powerful EM source weighs over 2 t. Mechanical handling ensures safe and efficient operations.

vessel 2
Seabed-logging data can be acquired as long as the receivers and the source can be safely deployed and the survey line can be followed.
vessel 3
Operations continue around the clock in order to meet global demand.
