Thomas gained his MSc in geophysics from the University of Oslo, Norway. He started his career in PGS as a seismic processor. In 2003, he joined the geology & geophysics department of EMGS. He worked as a processor for two years before being appointed technical sales manager. Thomas then relocated to Malaysia as regional sales manager for Asia Pacific and was appointed president Asia Pacific business unit in December 2007.
